2010: another year and another thousand thank yous

 

i have been very far away in thought, for a very long while. i apologize for my long silence. and i thank you for your gracious patience. as i could not have known when 2009 began, all that life held in store for me. for over the course of 2009 through 2010 i have received more blows to my heart than i knew possible to endure. it is only now, as i am at long last emerging from the darkest storms i have ever been called upon to find my way through...i am discovering all that Life holds in store for me.

for now, my voice has returned. i hope, never to cease singing again. i feel, honored to be entrusted to share with you the songs arising within me. i pray, symphonies of healing and goodness may come of each gift. from this day forward, as the sun sets on each week, come lay your burdens down with me. let your anchor rest peacefully, within the waters of this site, and allow me to sing to you. hymns of treasures from the places i have been...be it a writing, a poem, a photograph, a musing...i shall unveil, sacred gifts for you to find: let your eyes be open, that you may see; let your ears be open, that you may hear; let your heart be open, that you may feel.

another holiday season is upon us. another year has come to pass. welcome. no matter what your life circumstances, may you find the ever-present and infinitely-abundant blessings of Life overflowing within you and all around you...all throughout this happy new year. and for the countless messages i receive from so many ~ so many whom i may never have the privilege to meet face to face; it is you who blesses this site to Be so much more than i ever imagined possible ~ it is to each and every one of you who ever blesses this site with your presence for even the briefest of moments: with the very fullness of my heart i offer...another thousand thank yous.
