the heavens smile upon
cascading trumpets beckoning
butterflies and katydids
nestled in bramble berry
bushes thick with blooms
canopy rustic wood
bench swings
shaded beneath trios of elms
tangled in passion
vines ripe with fruit
nectar dripping
golden pollen kissing honey bee
legs of ivy scaling
trunks of oaks shadow
black phoebe beaks
snap dragon
flies and damsels
illuminated within
mist of sprinklers whirring
wings of hummingbird
feeders dangle above
white paint-chipped fences leaning
greenhouse walls splinter
cobalt glass windows framing
skeletons of fractured
terracotta pots aging
wine barrels spilling
dewdrops weep down petals
falling magnolia blossoms
blanket hallowed tree roots
opening delicate cracks in earthen
beds of iris faces
raised to the sun
light dancing
auras fragrant
aromas of antique heliotrope
wafting on the wind
swirling amidst blades of grass
circling velvet moss
covered mosaic stepping stones
skipping through time
